Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families, residents and school community of Newtown, Connecticut following the recent tragedy in which 20 students and 6 teachers lost their lives. May God bring a sense of peace to their community in the wake of this senseless tragedy.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. - Isaiah 43:2 ESV

No matter what trials, tribulations or challenges the world sends at you, God is always with you. He will carry you through.

Whenever you are plagued by doubts, seek God's presence. Then you may rest assured that in time, God will calm your fears, answer your prayers and restore your confidence.

Today at 3pm we lay to rest one of the wonderful matriarchs of our church, Sis Violet Collins. Sis Violet, may you Rest in Peace with the angels. We love you.

The Union Park Choral Spaghetti Dinner was a success. The food, fellowship and caroling by the Union Park Choral Group were all wonderful. Let us continue to support the youth in their walk with Christ.
