The one who understands a matter finds success, and the one who trusts in the Lord will be happy. - Proverbs 16:20 HCSB
Have you taken time to smile today? If not, take a moment, slow down, take a deep breath and count your blessings! God has promised all of us the opportunity to experience spiritual abundance and peace. But it's up to each and everyone of us to claim the spiritual riches God has in store for us. God promises us a life of fulfillment and joy, but He doesn't force his joy upon us. If you would like to experience the peace and joy God intends for you, accept His son and lay claim to His promises. Then put on a smile that stretches all the way down to your heart. When you do, you'll discover that when you smile at God, He smiles back.

When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put aside childish things. - 1 Corinthians 13:11 HCSB
If we are to grow, we need both knowledge and wisdom. Knowledge is found in textbooks. Wisdom, on the other hand, is found through experience, through experience, through years of trial and error, and through careful attention to the Word of God. Knowledge is an important building block in a well-lived life, and it pays rich dividends both personally and professionally. But wisdom is even more important because it refashions not only our minds, but also our hearts. When it comes to your faith, God doesn't intend for you to stand still. He wants you to keep growing as a woman and as a spiritual being. No matter how "grown-up" you may be, you still have growing to do. And the more you grow, the more beautiful you become, inside and out. |
