Set your minds on what is above, not on what is on the earth. - Colossians 3:2 HCSB
As believers, as Christians, the Christian life should be a cause for celebration. But oftentimes, we don't feel like celebrating. We let the weight of the world bear down upon our shoulders and celebration is the furthest thing from our minds. But, there's hope. As God's children we have been blessed beyond measure and we should acknowledge those blessings. So today and everyday, celebrate the life God has given you by thinking optimistically about yourself, your family, your life and your future. Give thanks to the One who has showered you with blessings and trust in your heart that He wants to give you so much more.

Everything is possible to the one who believes. - Mark 9:23 HCSB
The world we live in is full of infinite possibilities, but we often have limited faith and limited understanding and wrongly assume that God cannot or will not intervene in the affairs of mankind. But, those assumptions are wrong. Simply wrong. Are you afraid to ask God to perform big things in your life? Is your faith a little threadbare and worn? Well, it's time to abandon all doubts and reclaim your faith - faith in yourself, faith in your abilities, faith in your future and faith in your Heavenly Father, the man upstairs, God. God can make the impossible completely possible. So dream big and dream with God. God bless you all. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil. - Hebrews 6:19 NKJV
Today, focus your hope. All too often, we allow the worries of everyday life to overwhelm our thoughts and cloud our vision. Focusing on the frustrations of today and the uncertainties of tomorrow cause us to rob ourselves of peace in the present. But, if we focus on God's grace and trust in the ultimate wisdom of God's plan for our lives, our worries no longer terrorize us. Today, my challenge to you is to remember that God is infinitely greater than the challenges you face. So, by faith, say yes to God and set your minds on things above, where Christ is seated. |
