Giving to the local church is one of the primary ways God calls us to support His work and His kingdom. Giving not only enables the church to live out God’s purposes here on earth but more importantly it is part of our individual worship. When we give, we express our thanks, our dependence and our trust in God for everything he has done and provided for us.
By sacrificially and cheerfully giving God grows us and uses us for the expansion of His kingdom. The Bible in 2 Corinthians 9:7 says, "Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." At Union Park, the financial resources are used to support our local ministry, community outreach, and in specific areas throughout the country and world (World Missions). We believe and teach the importance of tithing (giving 10% of your income to the church you attend). However, if you feel compelled to support the ongoing ministry here at Union Park (above and beyond regular giving to your local church) we appreciate your support. We express our thanks for your “offerings.” As Christ sacrificed himself willingly for us on the cross, we gladly sacrifice for the sake of the Gospel, realizing all we have and all we receive is His. You can support the work of the church by clicking the Online Giving image to your left which takes you to PayPal. If you don't have PayPal, you can also send your tithe, offering or donation via Zelle to [email protected]. Just click the Zelle image to your left or scan the QR code. You can support the church by making a pledge as well. Pledges help in the maintenance of the church facilities and grounds. The pledge link (Click & Pledge) takes you to the pledge form where you can give as the Lord leads. Thank you for your support of the local church. |
