The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. Psalm 51:17 Are you demanding God's mercy, blessings and grace upon you when you are doing nothing for God's kingdom? Do you expect God to take care of you, yet you place him as an afterthought? What are you doing for God today? Have you given up the things of God for the things of this world? And if so, are you experiencing financial troubles, depression, stress? Is your spirit broken? Go to God, ask for forgiveness, repent for your sins, repent for putting the world before him. Go to him with a contrite heart. He is the comforter. He is your hope. He is your peace. Place HIM first!!!! God says, "O that my people would listen to me." Psalm 81:13
Repent therefore, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Messiah appointed for you, that is, Jesus. Acts 3:19-20 Lord, as we worship you today, may we be listening for your voice. Help us to hear and to understand your call to us. As we listen, impart your will into our hearts so we may do your will here on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

Choose life so that you and your descendants may live, loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and holding fast to him. Deuteronomy 30:19,20 Today, every decision you make influences the lives of your family in the future. However, you live your life, your family will look to you for guidance. So, what decision are you going to make today? Are you going to choose the world? The world that is full of sin, sickness, shame and suffering? Or are you going to choose God? Are you going to choose Jesus? Are you going to choose LIFE? Because LIFE is only given in Christ Jesus, the Son of God, God. So are you going to love Him, obey Him and follow Him? Choose LIFE!!!!
I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live. - Psalm 116:1-2 NIV Whatever cares, struggles, fears you may have. Whether they are financial, mental, physical, etc cast your cares on the Lord. Call on Him. He's waiting for your call. He loves you more than you are capable of loving Him. He hears your voice, He hears your cry for mercy. Call on Him forever, call on Him for everything. He said He would never leave you nor forsake you. So remember to call on Him and when you call, call on Him in Jesus' name, if it is in His will for you, you shall receive it.
Set your eyes on the prize. The prize that is Christ Jesus. Forsake the things of this world and focus only on him. If you are struggling, in need of comfort, in need of hope, in need of peace, find comfort in his words that He will never leave you, nor forsake you. Cast all your cares on him, all your burdens for He cares for you. He is the healer of your soul, the healer of your being. He is wonderful. He is your counselor. He is Almighty God. He is Amazing!!!
The one who understands a matter finds success, and the one who trusts in the Lord will be happy. - Proverbs 16:20 HCSB
Have you taken time to smile today? If not, take a moment, slow down, take a deep breath and count your blessings! God has promised all of us the opportunity to experience spiritual abundance and peace. But it's up to each and everyone of us to claim the spiritual riches God has in store for us. God promises us a life of fulfillment and joy, but He doesn't force his joy upon us. If you would like to experience the peace and joy God intends for you, accept His son and lay claim to His promises. Then put on a smile that stretches all the way down to your heart. When you do, you'll discover that when you smile at God, He smiles back. When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put aside childish things. - 1 Corinthians 13:11 HCSB
If we are to grow, we need both knowledge and wisdom. Knowledge is found in textbooks. Wisdom, on the other hand, is found through experience, through experience, through years of trial and error, and through careful attention to the Word of God. Knowledge is an important building block in a well-lived life, and it pays rich dividends both personally and professionally. But wisdom is even more important because it refashions not only our minds, but also our hearts. When it comes to your faith, God doesn't intend for you to stand still. He wants you to keep growing as a woman and as a spiritual being. No matter how "grown-up" you may be, you still have growing to do. And the more you grow, the more beautiful you become, inside and out. Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the voice of his servant? Let him who walks in darkness and has no light trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God. - Isaiah 50:10
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. In order to walk in the light you must trust in God and rely only on God. Man may fail you, but the Lord never will. Walk as children of light. Set your minds on what is above, not on what is on the earth. - Colossians 3:2 HCSB
As believers, as Christians, the Christian life should be a cause for celebration. But oftentimes, we don't feel like celebrating. We let the weight of the world bear down upon our shoulders and celebration is the furthest thing from our minds. But, there's hope. As God's children we have been blessed beyond measure and we should acknowledge those blessings. So today and everyday, celebrate the life God has given you by thinking optimistically about yourself, your family, your life and your future. Give thanks to the One who has showered you with blessings and trust in your heart that He wants to give you so much more. Everything is possible to the one who believes. - Mark 9:23 HCSB
The world we live in is full of infinite possibilities, but we often have limited faith and limited understanding and wrongly assume that God cannot or will not intervene in the affairs of mankind. But, those assumptions are wrong. Simply wrong. Are you afraid to ask God to perform big things in your life? Is your faith a little threadbare and worn? Well, it's time to abandon all doubts and reclaim your faith - faith in yourself, faith in your abilities, faith in your future and faith in your Heavenly Father, the man upstairs, God. God can make the impossible completely possible. So dream big and dream with God. God bless you all. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil. - Hebrews 6:19 NKJV
Today, focus your hope. All too often, we allow the worries of everyday life to overwhelm our thoughts and cloud our vision. Focusing on the frustrations of today and the uncertainties of tomorrow cause us to rob ourselves of peace in the present. But, if we focus on God's grace and trust in the ultimate wisdom of God's plan for our lives, our worries no longer terrorize us. Today, my challenge to you is to remember that God is infinitely greater than the challenges you face. So, by faith, say yes to God and set your minds on things above, where Christ is seated. |
